DESCRIPTION
A course for trained Spiritual Directors who desire to expand capacity in their practice or desire to continue one’s own formation. Join in this time to remember, relearn, and practice what you know and want to know as a trained Spiritual Director. Through exploring topics, both known and new, engage with others who are also life-long learners through facilitated training, dialogue, and “real plays” for what you’ve experienced in actual spiritual direction sessions.

An opportunity to expand your capacity as a Spiritual Director through topical conversations that will include asking questions, practicing, and more training in subject material that will be presented. Using breakout groups, large group, and homework, we will explore the most pressing topics for the cohort (i.e. dreamwork, gender identities, racial diversity, or send a topic of your choice) by engaging through your own experience and ideas.

Mary Pandiani
As the Executive Director of Selah, she co-facilitates In•Spirit with John Kimele for current spiritual directors seeking growth in their ongoing work as a director. Mary completed her Spiritual Direction certification with SoulStream in 2013 and her Supervision training in 2017. With a Masters and Doctorate in Leadership from Fuller Seminary and Portland Seminary, respectively, she has been a facilitator/teacher of various classes along with “Listening with the Spirit,” a Spiritual Direction program.
John Kiemele
John Kiemele, PhD, is a Wellbeing Educator, Spiritual Guide, and Listening Coach who has spent the past 30-plus years guiding individuals and groups across North America and internationally, assisting them to discover and deepen life-giving connections and wellbeing practices. John is Founder and former Director of Selah Center. John earned a PhD in educational studies and spirituality, and completed certificates in Mindful Self-Compassion, Wellness Coaching, Spiritual Direction, Mindfulness, and the Enneagram Spectrum.
