WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Join creatives, the curious, scribblers and doodlers from inside and outside the Selah community. Get the words flowing by writing, in community, through Zoom on alternating Tuesday evenings (every two weeks) from 6-7 pm. The hosts will bring an array of writing prompts and ideas. After a healthy dose of inspiration, there will be time to write and to connect with other writers. You’ll be able to share your work and get feedback—but only if you want to (no pressure.)
Whether you want to journal, blog, start something new or get fresh ideas for a work-in-progress, this hour will jumpstart your creativity.
DATES

Jeffrey Brusseau, Facilitator of Living From the Heart, serves on the Creative & Generative Team. He is a Selah Companion.
I have experienced my own writing that can be one of the sweetest nurtures to my own soul, and yet, left to my own ways, I may forget this practice over time. Then I re connect and often go, AHA, yes this is familiar. Oh yeah, I’d like more of this encounter.
Much in the same way it is with my Abba.
While veritably wandering after leaving church, I found Richard Rohr, then Illuman, Tom Cashman, John Kiemele and Selah in that order.
Selah is the well from which I drink now. My peeps here, they get me. My wandering is welcome. My tears, my grief and grieving, are welcome here.
My questioning is greeted warmly here. My humor is almost always welcome here. And so, it is.
Wounded healer that I hope to become, while loving the being I still am,
In.
This.
Present.
Moment.
