FACILITATORS

Bev Emerson, MBA, Spiritual Director, Transition Coach, and Business Advisor, has been practicing listening prayer since she was 13, but didn’t step deeply into this contemplative life until 2000 after attending the Servant Leadership School in Greensboro and experiencing God’s love in very new ways. Further formed through the Ignatian Exercises, she receives deep joy in connecting individuals to their truest selves, each other, and God.

Vanessa Fenlason, MA in Biblical Counseling, is very excited to co-facilitate this retreat. She has discovered the freedom in and depth of contemplative life more than 12 years ago. Ever since, she has attended many trainings and seminars, as well as facilitated retreats and soul care groups. She is passionate about accompanying people in the discovery of God’s presence and grace-filled voice.
Since 2015, Vanessa and Bev have been leading retreats, classes, and small groups together, focusing on helping individuals experience God in the midst of daily life. This is their first retreat post-COVID.
