A Midwinter God: Encountering the Divine in Seasons of Darkness

In a world and season of darkness, we need one another to recognize the Divine – God’s movement – in our lives and those around us. Reading together, we will explore six themes through Lent: gifts in winter and darkness, shadow work, grief, way of unknowing, feminine understanding, and transformation as offered by Painter’s book. Practicing together, each week will include a “Selah Moment” followed by key points from the chapter for the week, then we’ll move into breakout groups (the same each week) to dive deeper into the “treasurers” of darkness and share in the suggested practice.
