ONE-DAY WORKSHOP
Join us for a day retreat exploring what it means to age well. In the contemplative spirit of creativity and love, we want to discover joy in the aging process. Through the use of artwork and poetry, words and research, we will look at aging in its beauty and losses. Considering the One who created us in God’s image, we address ways to live out this life with recognition of all that is Holy. We focus on wisdom, community, reality and capacity to love as some tools as some tools that shape the journey of getting older. It’s never too soon to prepare. While this retreat is geared towards those concerned with aging, it applies to any of us who are getting older.
“To know how to grow old is the masterwork of wisdom,
and one of the most difficult chapters in the great art of living.”
Henri Amiel (1821-1881)
